The first Stable Release of WebSolarLog

Yesterday we released the first Stable-release of WebSolarLog with release number: stable-release-1.0.0 (build 571)

WebSolarLog is a logger for your Solar/PV installation and can log a lot of inverters.

It can be downloaded fromSourceforge or Update your current installation with the WSL-update in the admin.

This release is compatible with 3 inverter brands:

Also it can log the DutchSmartMeter (SlimmeMeter) with a P1 connection.

PVoutput support

Websolarlog is capable to send the logged data to the free Solar Logger service PVoutput for sharing and comparing your Solar data.

Websolarlog sends, when the inverter is awake and you configured this feature, every 5 min. your data to PVoutput. So you can compare and share your solar data with other solar-systems in the world.

Log your Diehl Solar Inverter

WebSolarLog is a PV logger and compatible with almost every Diehl inverter that has an Ethernet connection.

We tested the logger with the following Diehl inverters:

  • Diehl AKO Platinum 4600H
  • Diehl AKO Platinum 2100H

Based on our test results, we can say that WebSolarLog probably work on all Diehl inverters with an Ethernet connection.

If your solar inverter is not in the list above, and you have succesfully tested your Diehl inverter with WebSolarLog, we would appreciate a comment. We then add your Diehl type to the list with tested devices.

Log your SMA Solar Inverter

WebSolarLog is a Solar logger and compatible with almost every SMA inverter that has a RS485 connection.

We tested the logger with the following SMA inverters:

  • SB2100 TL

Based on our test results, we can say that WebSolarLog probably work on all SMA inverters.

If your solar inverter is not in the list above, and you have succesfully tested your SMA inverter with WSL, we would appreciate a comment. We then add your SMA type to the list with tested devices.

Log your PowerOne Uno Solar Inverter

WebSolarLog is a Photovoltaics logger and compatible with almost every PowerOne Uno inverter with a RS485 connection.

We tested the logger with the following PowerOne Uno inverters:

  • PVI 3.0
  • PVI 3.6
  • PVI-12.5
  • Uno 2.0

Based on our test results, we can say that WebSolarLog works with all PowerOne Uno inverters.

If your inverter is not in the list above, and you have succesfully tested your PowerOne Uno inverter with WSL, we would appreciate a comment. We then add your PowerOne Uno type to the list with tested devices.

Code freeze

We want to release an stable version off websolarlog. However new features keeps coming. We have decided to make the current features more stable and fix bugs we encounter. When things are stable the first official stable release will an fact.
